Heart health issues like blocked arteries are often linked to chest pain or breathlessness, but feet can also signal problems such as peripheral artery disease (PAD) and coronary artery disease (CAD). PAD restricts blood flow to the legs and feet, causing cold feet, slow-healing wounds, or pain. CAD can cause foot swelling, numbness, or brittle toenails.
