The internet never fails to amaze with its ability to showcase intriguing, shocking, or even bizarre content. Social media, in particular, has brought unusual topics into the spotlight, from earwax removal to pimple popping videos.

But tonsil stones? I hadn’t heard of them until stumbling upon a video that piqued my curiosity. Tonsil stones are hard, whitish or yellowish masses that form in the tonsillar crypts—small crevices in the tonsils.
