The small orange dot on an iPhone screen is a security feature introduced by Apple to indicate that an app is using the microphone.
If you see it unexpectedly, it could mean an app is secretly recording audio without your knowledge.
To check which app is using the microphone, swipe down from the top-right corner of the screen to open the Control Center. If you suspect unauthorized access, review your app permissions in Settings and remove any suspicious apps immediately.
